Multi Channel Frame Grabbers for PCI

The p3i frame grabbers have a universal design. The family consists of the following models

  • p3i/MONO: 1 * monochrome 1:4 multiplex input
  • p3i/RGB: 1 * RGB 1:2 multiplex inputs
  • p3i/ASYNC: 4 * monochrome parallel, non-synchronized cameras
  • p3i/QUADRO: 4 * monochrome parallel, synchronisert cameras

All boards have programmable PCI and camera interfaces. Support for Windows and Linux is available.

  • Frame Grabber for 4 simultaneous, synchronized monochrome input channels
  • Parallel acquisition by main memory and graphics card possible

  • Support of restart/reset cameras with dedicated restart functions
  • Real time acquisition of individual sequences or images directly by the main PC memory via DMA (32 bits)
  • Image memory formats: 4 * monochrome in separate memories with 8-bit/pixel or color pixel in memory with 32 bits/pixel
  • 4 inputs with Hirose connectors, optimized for 4 monochrome cameras (exept p3i_RGB and p3i_MONO: 2 * DB-15 with 8 analog channels)
  • Drivers for Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7 with 32 and 64 bits
  • Driver for LINUX with 32 bits
  • Software support: Frame Grabber Basic Tools
  • Connection to various image processing libraries
  • Support for DirectDraw with sample sources
